Sustainability - out of love for nature

Our promise for sustainable holidays in Tscherms near Merano

  • On the roofs of our new building, we have installed a photovoltaic system and a solar system. The new building has been equipped with an air-to-water heat pump. We have also installed air-to-water heat pumps in the main house and the holiday apartments, which operate the climate and heating systems.
  • Our swimming pool is chlorine-free. We use skin-friendly saltwater.
  • In the planning and construction of our houses, interior design of all rooms, and outdoor design, we have been working with local craft businesses for many years.
  • It is important for us to use furniture made of local woods (oak, larch, and walnut). We have laid tiles made of stoneware and porphyry, as well as silver quartzite slabs in the garden.

Eat & drink local
  • The filter coffee and espresso beans come from fair trade cultivation by alpscoffee, the teas are from organic cultivation by the South Tyrolean tea import company Viropa. 
  • Directly from the tree to the breakfast buffet - our seasonal home-grown fruit tastes great and does not need to be imported. (Apples, kiwi, kiwi berries, peaches, apricots, grapes, plums, nuts, quinces, figs, etc.)
  • The water from the tap is pure drinking water of high quality. Avoid plastic bottles and fill your water bottle with water from the Tschermser mountain spring.
  • We don't need chemical energy drinks. Our homemade apple juice is our natural source of vitamins.

     
  • We source our wines from small winegrowers in Tscherms. Also try our 0-km-organic white wine from our own cultivation - exclusively 150 bottles
  • We source drinks and food from local suppliers and producers.

  • E-charging station for your electric car (at an additional cost)
  • GuestPass included with every booking for free
Room Cleaning
  • Room cleaning can be canceled via our hotel app upon request.
  • Towels in the room will only be changed if they are on the floor.
  • Bathrobes and towels for the pool and sauna are available for an additional charge.
  • Bar soap, also available to take away at the sink upon departure, and refillable dispensers in the shower.
  • We use biodegradable and environmentally friendly cleaning agents for room cleaning and laundry.

The Marlinger Waalweg starts directly from the house.
